Unidine Team Members Organize PPE donations to 77 Assisted Living Communities in the NY Metro Area

“At Unidine, our team members are dedicated to performing as goodwill ambassadors, in and out of the workplace through actions that value our customers, clients, and their surrounding community.” said Richard Schenkel, Founder, President & CEO of Unidine Corporation.

Throughout this pandemic, we have given all our effort to take care of the people we serve and give back at every opportunity. In the Bronx, NY our team members worked with the Empire State Association of Assisted Living to package and organize PPE donations for 77 senior living communities in the metro NY area. These communities were heavily impacted and in need as a result of the current pandemic.

The donations included:

  • 120,000 surgical masks
  • 20,000 protective gowns
  • 6,000 pairs of goggles
  • 10,000 pairs of gloves
  • 160 gallons of sanitizer

Our resilient team members throughout Staten Island and the Bronx worked together to lend a helping hand to these 77 communities in need with supplies that contributed to their safety. This is a timely example of the impact we can have on people when we work together, as a team.

By delivering these donations, our team members were able to create meaningful connections with so many healthcare heroes on the frontlines of COVID-19. Through their interactions, they found comfort in sharing feelings of hope and the influence of support when people come together.

Unidine is committed to supporting our communities that still need our help from this pandemic because that’s The Unidine Way.
