Re: Food and Nutrition Department
I never thought that I (or anyone) would ever write “my compliments to the chef” for hospital food. But I could not wait to send this most sincere thank you to everyone in the kitchen and dietary departments.
My mother (Claire) was in the ICU for over two weeks in April mostly with an Ng tube. Your department enabled my 90-year-old father, her husband of 60 years, to eat his lunch and dinner every night with “his bride.” He pronounced it delicious!
It has been an emotional time for us. And of course your fabulous staff made it better with food!
I was a patient last week for kidney surgery and I concur with my father about the great meals.
Additionally, every member of these departments has been gracious, professional, empathetic and really going the extra mile in presenting themselves, their departments and your hospital as the best.
Special shout out to LB. She is truly a treasure.
I am sending a thank you card to the Food and Nutritional Departments, but I feel such excellent and dedicated staff should be brought to your attention.
