Unidine Launches Updated Web Site
Site offers new look, enhanced resources for clients & public
BOSTON
, MA ( September 29, 2004 ) Unidine today announced that
it has unveiled an updated, content-driven web site.
Designed and developed under the supervision of Steve
Kirstein, Unidine's marketing consultant, the site supports
the company's new brand identity, and provides easier
navigation and expanded information resources for prospects,
corporate clients and job seekers.
"The
new site serves as the central point for the company's
overall marketing efforts going forward," said
Kirstein. "We wanted to provide a richer, more
informational experience for our clients and prospects
-- and one in which they could define their own dialogue
with us. The site's new content reinforces the very
focused approach Unidine takes with regard to its business
- demonstrating the many ways we help clients improve
their dining offerings to patients, residents, guests
and staff, to the benefit of all," said Kirstein.
One
of the critical concerns in the development of the
website was to make it as accessible as possible to
prospects and clients, many of whom do not have the
latest in Internet technology available to them. "The
site has a very contemporary look and is easy to navigate,
yet it uses basic programming tools -- there's no Flash
or other potentially problematic elements that might
hinder older browsers and dial-up connections",
said Kirstein. "It also makes it easier for us
to update content on the site and keep it fresh and
dynamic."
Visitors to the website can view the latest industry
news, download informational materials, schedule phone
calls, choose their preferred method and frequency of
contact. Users can also
subscribe to Unidine's periodic overview of research,
trends and insights in hospitals and senior services.
In addition, the website allows Unidine's HR department
to easily update job openings on a daily basis. "Our
team members are our lifeblood," states Sue Gordon,
Unidine's VP of Human Resources. "Attracting and
hiring the best candidates is a critical success factor
for us. And with the new site, being able to update our
job listings quickly and efficiently enables us to meet
and exceed client and customer expectations."
"The
goal is to redefine thought-leadership in the dining services
area," stated Schenkel, "We intend to make Unidine.com
an active resource center, providing valuable information
for everyone concerned with food and dining services management
issues."
