Richard Schenkel, President & Chief Executive Officer
Richard has an extensive background in food and service management in the health care industry. As Founder, President and CEO, Richard spearheaded the development of Unidine from concept to implementation. Prior to establishing Unidine, Schenkel was CEO and President of a regional health care service management company and a food service management firm. His leadership experiences include various executive level positions with two major international health care service firms directing various operational, sales and marketing initiaitves. He has a degree from the University of Wisconsin.
Larry Abrams, Senior Vice President, Operations
Larry has an impressive track record of successful contract and client management in food and dining services which spans more than 17 years. His passionate and uncompromising commitment to Unidine's fresh food philosophy, and his strong drive to deliver custom, innovative solutions stand in stark contrast to the standard institutional food service delivery models. Following successful roles with three providers of dining management and senior living services, Larry joined Unidine in 2007 where he leads all Unidine operations for hospital and senior services clients. Larry has an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University and earned his BA from Madison University in Food Services Management.
Steven Servant, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Steve is a seasoned veteran whose history of success in food service operations, clinical nutrition and sales roles in the healthcare industry spans nearly 30 years. He leveraged his expertise in senior level business development to build two of the most well-respected healthcare support service outsourcing organizations in the industry. Following a five-year period as principal of his own company, he joined Unidine's executive leadership team to lead Unidine's business development and marketing efforts. David Silva, Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
David has a financial management career of over 25 years. He began his career in a major international public accounting firm where he gathered experience with various hospitality clients. Shifting his focus to private industry, David managed the financial and IT operations of both national and international manufacturing corporations. Before joining Unidine, David held senior financial positions in both the food services and medical product sectors. David is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts.
David Leuci, Vice President, Information Technology
David is a hands-on industry leader with more than ten years of IT management experience in the software development, strategic asset management and health and fitness industries. He is skilled at developing and pushing an organization's strategic technology direction towards operational efficiency, cost effectiveness and market competitiveness, and is adept at shaping policy for national and global IT organizations.
Chris Stainton, Vice President, Supply Chain
Chris leads Unidine's supply chain team. He has an extensive background in contract foodservice purchasing in healthcare, school, B & I, sport and entertainment markets. With over 20 years' experience in food, paper, distribution, supplies, equipment and services purchasing, Chris brings a solutions based mindset to deliver the right product at the right cost and time. Prior to joining Unidine, Chris led purchasing teams at Foodbuy, LLC, one of the largest Group Purchasing Organizations in the United States, where he executed supply strategies for over 14,000 facilities. Chris holds a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and International Business from Florida International University in Miami, Florida.
